Our volunteers are a diverse bunch. They come to us from the four corners of the globe, different ethnicities, ages, genders, religions, but the one thing they all share is a desire to help. They are the beating heart of Serve the City. They are dedicated individuals, role models to young people and future leaders. But who are they really? In our volunteer spotlight we introduce you to one of our volunteers and find out some unusual and interesting facts about them.

What language(s) do you speak?

Swedish, English (Learning french)

What does STCP mean to you?

For me its means the opportunity to help people who are in need of support

When you’re not volunteering, how do you spend your time?

I enjoy spending time at the climbing gym hanging out with friends and family, doomscrolling and playing piano as well

What is your favorite hobby?

I would have to say climbing or cooking food

What is your favorite meal?

Enchiladas

With which person living or deceased would you like to eat that meal?

Gustav Vaasa (Swedish goat)

What is your idea of perfect happiness?

being content with life

Which living person do you most admire?

I don’t really admire anyone that much maybe Jordan Barret but probably one of my friends

Which talent would you most like to have?

I wish chemistry and physics came to me easier

What do you consider your greatest achievement?

I don’t have a singular achievement but in general not being afraid to step out of my comfort zone to experience and learn new things.

If you were to die and come back as a person or a thing, what would it be?

Ohh maybe the president of the united states so i could get some legislation towards climate change
