Workshop Highlights Mentorship Opportunities for Newcomers to France

To support our beneficiaries—asylum seekers, refugees, and young adult immigrants—in discovering organizations that can help them enter the job market, and to introduce our volunteers to active associations in Paris assisting refugees, Serve the City Paris (STCP) held a workshop on Friday, April 4, 2025. The event took place at STCP’s new space, Impact Café, in collaboration with our partner organization, Duo for a JOB, and was aimed at beneficiaries currently seeking employment.

Duo for a JOB offers mentorship programs led by experienced professionals to support young job seekers who face challenges integrating into the labor market.

During the workshop, Charlotte Poulain, Director of Duo for a JOB in Île-de-France, introduced the organization to both beneficiaries and volunteers. She explained the application process for the mentorship program and outlined the benefits of being matched with a mentor. Charlotte also took time to answer participants’ questions, and several beneficiaries expressed interest in joining the program.

Serve the City Paris is grateful to Charlotte for her support in organizing this meaningful event and looks forward to continued collaboration in the future.
