SenseMaking: Cultivating Ideas to Provoke Social Change
The world is changing quickly. Our full capacity to face uncertainty, interpret our surroundings smartly, and make great relevant decisions are keys to become empowered change agents.
Rather than asking how we can bounce back from the crisis, the “SenseMaking” approach asks how we might adapt and create a world that allows us to evolve, learn and respond more effectively to complex challenges.
During this 1.5-hour online session, you will learn how to start identifying your purpose, freshen up your perspectives, begin the necessary process to challenge your own assumptions and finding new meanings with others. Sensemaking is a tool that has been defined as “the ongoing retrospective development of plausible images that rationalize what people are doing”.

Fostering a Regenerative Future & Collaborative Culture
With Carrie’s vast experiences in both the start-up and corporate worlds, she founded Co-Happening in 2017 to reshape collaborative innovation processes for both organizations and thriving communities.
Through setting up an agile-inspired learning culture, she supports leaders and diverse talents to build trusting relations and dynamic teams to work effectively and creatively with others. She empowers self-starters to know what they really want and helps them avoid compromising their core values and mission.
If you are not a S.A.V.E member, there is a 20 euro donation required to join this workshop, which will then allow all participants to volunteer at Serve the City Paris. The donation to participate can be completed at https://save.servethecity.paris/donate.
What is SAVE Member Program?
SAVE Member Program is designed to support you to join our international Serve the City’s network proactively and creatively. With a flexible framework, you get to build your credentials and knowledge about volunteering and create social impacts in your own neighbourhood.
The main goal for us is to offer you concrete guidance and connect you with like-minded others to become a more empowered change-agent. Once you joined us, you will work closely with our leadership team and peers. You will also have the opportunity to join any open workshops free-of-charge whenever you like, be invited to our exclusive SAVE member sessions for you to identify your purpose, life-quest through developing your own capstone project (https://save.servethecity.paris/capstone-project/) or social initiatives.
Each participant receives a Certificate of Completion, and a personalized Letter of Testimonial for your CV, school credit or work.
