Ethical Business Workshop

Doing Well & Doing Good – Simultaneously

This week we offer a special expert workshop on ethical business hosted by Valentina Lana.

Valentina, who teaches at Sciences Po and works with the author of the French anti-corruption law, will share her knowledge of legal and ethical standards and practices, starting from the American and French examples. Valentina is an attorney by training, has a passion for ethical business and the fight against corruption, is an alumna of the Marshall Memorial Fellowship. One of her areas of expertise is the transatlantic dialogue and cooperation in the fight against corruption.

Some of the topics she will address are:

  • How do young people choose what to buy?
  • Young generations are more and more demanding, imposing on companies ethical standards to remain competitive.
  • Customer demands and legal obligations require businesses to do more than just providing a good product or satisfactory service.
  • What are these ethical and legal standards and how to comply with them?
  • Is it possible to do well while doing good?
  • How and where to start?
  • Are the standards of one country similar to those of other countries?
  • What is the role and influence of leaders?
  • What can we all do?
